What are the ingredients in the cleaning spray? What do they do?

Aqua (Water) is plain old water. It’s the base of the formula and helps dissolve and carry the other ingredients.

Decyl Glucoside is a gentle cleanser made from plant-derived sugars. It helps lift away dirt and residue from the surface of your toy.

Polyglyceryl-10 Laurate is a plant-derived ingredient that helps oil and water mix properly. It also supports the cleansing process by helping loosen residue.

Chlorhexidine Digluconate is a cleansing ingredient commonly used in personal care products. It helps reduce the presence of bacteria on the surface.

Backhousia Citriodora (Lemon Myrtle) Leaf Oil is a plant-derived essential oil that adds a fresh, citrus scent.

Mentha Piperita (Peppermint) Oil is an essential oil that gives a light, minty freshness.

Pelargonium Graveolens (Geranium) Flower Oil is a botanical essential oil that adds a soft, floral note.

Citric Acid is found naturally in citrus fruits. It helps balance the formula so it stays stable and effective.

Where does Normal ship sex essentials to?

We currently ship sex essentials all over Australia from our facility in Melbourne. Orders are fulfilled within 1-2 business days and delivered within 5 business days.

Why use a toy cleaning spray instead of regular soap and/or water?

Warm soapy water can be used to clean toys, but this nightstand-ready option is designed for sex toy materials with a minimum of mess during your afterglow moments - it comes with a gentle natural scent, and is easy to spray, wipe and play again.

Should I use the cleaning spray on porous materials?

It’s best suited for non-porous materials like silicone, plastic and glass.

Should I use the cleaning spray on my body or hands?

No - it’s designed for cleaning your toys to keep your toys and body in great condition, but is not a substitute for a hand sanitiser or body-friendly cleanser if you are looking to do body cleanup after play.
