Yes! Everyone can use and experience (lots of) pleasure from a product like Option A.

Shower & bath usage.

The plugs and bullet in Option A are suitable for use in the shower or bath, but do not submerge the remote or charge any components near water.

Cleaning & storage.

Clean your toys with a dedicated toy cleaner or warm soapy water after use, and if you are moving from anal to vaginal or oral, make sure you clean any fingers, toys or genitals before you do so. This is really important to ensure you’re not bringing bacteria from the anus to the genitals. There is no need to submerge, boil or clean in appliances like a dishwasher or washing machine. 

Remember that you should not use silicon-based lube with a silicon toy, as this may damage the toy (water-based lubricants are best).

Store toys in a clean, dry, cool place away from direct sunlight or heat. If you notice damage, warping or other changes to your toy's shape, do not continue using it.

Anal & vaginal use only.

While there are alternate uses for many sex toys, we do not recommend this device for oral use.

Always use lube.

Lube is an essential for all sexual experiences, but particularly for anal play, as the rectum doesn’t self-lubricate. Add a toy-friendly lube to the plug and your anus, then keep it handy so you can re-apply as needed.

Build up slowly, and don’t push through unwanted pain.

Sex should never involve unwanted pain - and the same goes for anal. It can take some time building up to a butt plug, so don’t be alarmed or disappointed if you can’t get the plug in the first time - that’s pretty normal, especially if you’re new to it!

Remove the pressure on yourself, take your time and go slow with it. Explore the external stimulation techniques in this article before moving to internal play with your fingers or a small plug.

Do not try to insert the bullet into your body on its own.

This one might sound obvious, but just in case: the bullet is not safe for internal anal stimulation or internal vaginal stimulation. It is designed to be inserted into one of the two plugs to make them vibrate, and you can also use the bullet alone on other erogenous zones like the clit, nipples, tip of the penis - just make sure you wash it thoroughly if you’re moving from anal to any other play.

Do not try to push your toy past the flared base.

This might also sound obvious, but when using Option A it is essential to ensure the flared base sits comfortably outside the anus. The toy is designed to be a size that should fit comfortably for most people, but remember that our bodies are all diverse, so if you feel like the plug is fitting too tightly or too loosely for your body, or not fitting correctly in another way, just remove it and get in touch with us. Our team are always happy to help you out with an exchange to another product if it’s not the right fit for you. 

Always use the plug with a bullet inside it - even if the bullet is not vibrating.

If you purchase our VIP kit, you can use two plugs at once (one per partner, or double penetration with an anal and a vaginal plug).

If you purchase our OG kit, we do not recommend using the spare plug without a bullet inside, or bending it on your finger while stimulating other erogenous zones - this is to ensure the structure holds it shape at all moments.

Your kit includes a small plug and a medium plug, a bullet vibrator (which can be inserted into either plug), a remote (which controls the bullet), an instruction card, a charging cord (for both your bullet and remote), and a gorgeous toolkit bag with six pockets which you can use to store your kit items plus a couple of other vibes.

It will arrive in an Option A recyclable tube, and be delivered in an unmarked padded bag made from recyclable materials.

Lube is a must when using a butt plug, as is cleaning your product every time you use it (you can use warm soapy water, or a cleaning spray like ours, or both!).

If you'd like to add a Normal lube and cleaning spray, via our Toy Care Essentials, you can do add these when you add your product to your shopping cart and check out.

If you're already well-supplied, no stress!

All of our vibes are made from non-reactive, non-porous body-safe silicone, and free from all the nasties (phthalates, PVC, vinyl, jelly rubber, TPR/TPE & latex).

All orders arrive in discreet, unmarked, padded recycled mailer bags or boxes (so you can focus on good vibes, stress-free).

• Charge the bullet & remote: Here’s a 2 minute video from our co-founder and inhouse sex coach Georgia Grace explaining how to do it! But if you'd prefer to read, read on. Attach the USB charger which comes with your kit to the bullet, and when it completes charging, move over to the remote to charge. The charging ports on both the remote and the bullet look like two silver circles and they are magnetic. We recommend giving the bullet and remote at least 2 hours to reach full charge and regularly charge to keep your kit in best working order. Please note, if you have other vibes from our range, the vibe charging ports are in different locations and may look different on some vibes, so we recommend you check the product guide for your specific product to confirm how to charge.
  
• To turn on the bullet: Turn on by holding the button for around 2 seconds or until the light turns on, then press the button again until you feel a buzz, and press to cycle through different intensities to find your vibe. To turn it off, hold down the button until it stops vibrating.
  
• Using your remote: Once your bullet is turned on and vibrating, hold down the power button on the remote for 3 seconds, and then use the intensity button to cycle through and find your vibe.
  
• Inserting and removing your bullet: Here’s a quick video where our in-house sex coach and Normal co-founder Georgia Grace demonstrates how to do it in under 30 seconds. The plug is designed to grip the bullet firmly (for obvious reasons!) without making it difficult to insert or remove when the time comes. We recommend adding 1-2 drops of lube on your bullet before insertion, to help you insert and remove your bullet from the small and medium plugs with more ease. Then push the bullet all the way in to insert, and wiggle gently out to remove.

As this is an anal kit it’s particularly important to wash the kit thoroughly with warm soapy water and/or a vibe cleaning spray like ours after every use.

It’s also a good idea to wash the vibes before you use them again, just to make sure they’re all squeaky clean, body safe and to keep everything in great condition (including you!).

If you plan on moving from anal or other body parts you will also need to thoroughly wash vibes before using them anywhere else.
